Privacy Notice

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This notice explains what personal information Wirral Kitchens & Interiors Ltd collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to enquiries you make by phone, email or in the showroom.

Who we are

Wirral Kitchens & Interiors Ltd, Unit 11, Hilbre Business Park, Carr Lane, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 4AZ.

You can contact us about anything in this notice by email at sales@wirralkitcheninteriors.co.uk or by phone on 0151 721 0827.

We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us about a kitchen, bathroom, interior or maintenance enquiry — by form, email, phone or in person — we collect your name, your contact details, the address or postcode of the property, and whatever you choose to tell us about the work you want. If you send us photographs of your room so we can advise or quote, we collect those too.

Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted on our behalf and our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. If website analytics are switched on, they record how pages are used — see Cookies and analytics below.

We do not ask for and do not want special category data — information about health, beliefs or similar. Please do not send it to us.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To answer your enquiry and quote for work. Our lawful basis is that we need to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us.

To design, supply and carry out work you have asked for. Our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you.

To keep records of the work we have done. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business properly and our legal obligations, including tax records.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We share what is necessary, and only what is necessary, with: the tradespeople who carry out the building work, electrics, plumbing and installation on your project; our suppliers and manufacturers, in order to specify and order your goods; and the service providers who host our website and email.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, including one that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. These do not need your consent.

We may also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, and under UK law they require your consent. If we have not asked you for that consent, analytics should not be running — if you believe it is, please tell us using the contact details above and we will look into it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How long we keep it

If you enquire and we do not go ahead with work, we keep your enquiry for up to two years, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.

If we carry out work for you, we keep the project record for six years after completion. That lets us deal with questions, warranty claims and our legal and tax obligations.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see Your rights.

Where your information is held

Your information is held on systems within the UK or the European Economic Area, or with providers covered by UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • ask us to delete it, where there is no good reason for us to keep it
  • ask us to restrict how we use it while a concern is resolved
  • object to us using it on the basis of our legitimate interests
  • ask us to transfer it to you or to someone else in a portable format
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
